To Reserve a Cabin, please read the following:

DEPOSITS
A $200.00 deposit per cabin/unit per week is required for a confirmed reservation. Your reservation will be automatically terminated if we do not receive your deposit within five (5) days after you've made your initial reservation. To ensure an immediate confirmation, we'll gladly accept your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card over the phone. Mailed personal checks and money orders are acceptable as well.

RESERVATION CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits will be refunded minus a $50.00 administrative fee on all reservations that are cancelled over 60 days prior to your scheduled check-in date. Cancellations in less than 60 days will forfeit the entire deposit. Northwind Lodge is a destination resort with a very short time for doing business. The vast majority of our reservations are made many months in advance. As a result, parties who may have been interested in reserving cabins can't always get in and seek alternative vacation areas. That means when a reservation is cancelled for ANY reason within 60 days of the specified time, the chances of Northwind Lodge filling that cabin for that time is greatly diminished. A cancellation means that we lose the reservation and have a cabin unoccupied for the cancelled period. Our operating revenues are reduced plus we've lost the opportunity to introduce a new customer to Northwind Lodge. In summary, if you cancel your reservation for whatever reason within 60 days of your scheduled time, you forfeit the entire $200.

To avoid any misunderstanding, you are responsible for any and all time you have reserved and your deposit is applicable to the last night of your reservation only. No rate alterations will be allowed for your early departure during your reserved time.

CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT
Check-in is after 3:00 PM and no earlier because we must finish cleaning and preparing the resort for a warm welcome to our incoming guests. Reservations will be held only until 8:00 PM on your scheduled arrival date unless we hear from you regarding your delay. Should you arrive in Ely before our 3:00 PM check-in time, please call ahead to see if your cabin is ready before driving out to the Lodge. Our local number for when you are in Ely is (218) 365-5489

Check-out is 9:00 AM and no later so that we may prepare the resort for incoming guests. A late charge of $10.00 will be charged for each half-hour beyond the check-out time of 9:00 AM.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS
Northwind Lodge is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day until August 31. September hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. These listed hours constitute our calendar day for equipment rental purposes. If you need something before or after hours, please don't hesitate to ask. We're quite flexible for particular scheduling needs within reason.
