It's been very popular for our lodge guests, beginners & seasoned practitioners alike! The year 2005 was the first year of the Yoga Den; many visitors to Ely as well as members of the community continue to participate in yoga classes! Also, The Yoga Den is honored each summer to welcome Sudha Carolyn Lundeen, a long-time yoga instructor and teacher trainer from Kripalu Center. Sudha has been a guest teacher many times at The Yoga Den, leading several classes and presenting a variety of workshops!

So here's your chance to continue with your yoga practice while vacationing in Ely, or you can take a class for the first time ever and see what yoga can be to you! Bring friends, family, or come by yourself. Just remember to call ahead, because class size is limited. Whether staying at Northwind Lodge or elsewhere in the Ely, MN area, you are always welcome at The Yoga Den!

You may buy a Yoga Den Punchcard and start saving anytime. Your card is kept on file here; you don't need to worry about losing or misplacing it! Purchase your Punchcard at Red Rock Wilderness Store or from Annette before/after class.

During your stay at Northwind Lodge (or anywhere else in the Ely area!), you can now take yoga classes right here on the premises! Enjoy your yoga experience, honoring your body's needs in each moment. Annette is a Professional-Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher. The Kripalu style is very adaptable to each individual and emphasizes a balanced approach to strength, flexiblility, and vitality! Annette is one of a small handful of Professional-Level Kripalu Yoga teachers in the entire state of Minnesota; she is also registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT500).

Classes are available for everyone, even if you've never tried yoga before, tried it but didn't like it, practiced for many years, are returning to yoga after an absence from it, heck, even if you're a yoga teacher! Don't worry, Annette won't have you try to turn into a pretzel or stand on your head (unless you want to; Ha!)! It's Yoga for Real People!

Sign up when you are at Northwind Lodge to reserve space. You may bring your own mat or use mats provided. You do not need to be a Northwind Lodge registered guest to participate, but you do need to reserve space. Call for Schedule times at 365-5489 when you are visiting Ely.
